First Look And Tour Of Our New 2026 Rockwood Geo Pro 19FD Travel Trailer

So after 10 years in a 31-foot Class C, we have decided to change things up and switch over to a travel trailer. We fell in love with the Rockwood Geo Pro 19FD from Forest River (This is also sold as a Flagstaff Epro, which has different outside graphics and interior colors). There is a lot to like about this 20'2" trailer. It packs quite a bit into a small package. The dry weight of my unit comes in at 3,406 lbs. and has a gross vehicle weight rating of 4,432 lbs., which gives us more than enough loading capability of 1,000 pounds of gear. It is a 6-sided, full-aluminum-framed unit with composite wall construction and a front fiberglass cap with an automotive-type windshield. It uses a Dexter Torflex Axle with large Westlake off-road type tires to give the Geo Pro a great, aggressive look. Rockwood even gives you a factory-installed TPMS system.
The Geo Pro exterior graphics for 2026 look up-to-date and classy all at the same time. All the windows are frameless, and the cargo doors have slam latches, giving it a high-end feel. At the front of the unit is a power tongue jack, two 20 lbs. LPG tanks with a cover and a dual battery box. On the roof, which is TPO, is a Winegard 5G Air antenna, a Coleman Mach air conditioner, a MaxxAir Fan, and a 200-watt GoPower solar panel. The rear of the Geo Pro has a mounted ladder for easy roof access and a 2-inch hitch receiver with a 300-pound capacity. Hot Water is supplied by a Suburban 6-gallon auto-ignite gas/electric water heater. Heat is supplied by a 20,000 BTU Surburban Furnace. For the off-grid boondocking crowd, there is a 1800-watt WFCO inverter. The WFCO power converter has an auto-detect feature to automatically adjust the charging profile depending on the type of battery used. The 14-foot electric awning is from Solera and includes LED lighting. To enter the Geo Pro, we love the MORryde solid steps, which give you a very stable, solid feel, not to mention the four Lippert drop-down stabilizer jacks.
The attention to detail is just about everywhere you look on the Geo Pro. Little things like a Lippert Thin Shade on the entry door, a Lippert Screen Shot door closer, key alike doors, courtesy night floor lighting, and so much more. When you enter the Geo Pro, you're surprised by how much is actually in this small space. The 19FD is a front Murphy bed unit with a regular full-size mattress. It doesn't fold or bend like many others we have seen. When in the closed position, it has a clean look and fits well into the layout with the jack-knife sofa. The sofa even boasts a center armrest with cup holders and retractable leg rests. When the bed is in the down position, there is still plenty of room to get to the entry door. On each side of the bed are his and her closets and night tables. The Geo Pro uses a WFCO Power Pro control center with Bluetooth. It lets you control the lights and other peripherals by physical button, a phone app, or even simply your voice, similar to a smart home. All the lights are dimmable LEDs, which allows you to tone down the brightness at night.
The kitchen has a 3-burner Suburban cooktop and a deep stainless sink. Below the countertop are two large drawers and a large double-door cabinet. The cabinets and drawers all have hidden hinges and soft-close. Above the stovetop and sink is a large window that is almost the full length of the counter. A stove vent hood exhausts to the outside, and above that are more cabinets. To the left of the counter is a convection microwave just above the 12-volt Magic Chef refrigerator. Across from the kitchen area is the dinette seating. The cushions are thick and comfortable and boasts a large picture-type window that overlooks the campside of the unit. Above the dinette are more cabinets that run from the entry door to the back wall. On the back wall is a Connex Smart Television, which even includes the radio. Just above that is the GoPower PWM solar controller with Bluetooth.
The door at the back between the dinette and kitchen is for the bathroom, which is the entire width of the trailer. This large dry bath bathroom includes a spacious shower with a skylight and a hybrid shower door. It also includes a Shower Miser Reclamation System to use when trying to conserve water when no hook-ups are available. The toilet is a porcelain Aqua Magic II with a foot flush. Above the toilet is a mirrored medicine cabinet. To the left is a large countertop with an undermount sink. Above the sink is a two-door mirrored storage closet that can easily hold all the bathroom sundries and towels. To finish it off, the bathroom has a powerful MaxxAir Fan, which easily pulls air through the entire trailer. They have even included a MaxxAir vent cover on the roof so it can be used during rain. So far, our experience with the Geo Pro has been great. The quality, fit, and finish on our 19FD are above what you typically see on travel trailers. Rockwood seems to have built a trailer without skimping out on the small details, or maybe I should say Rockwood has built a trailer that pays attention to details, even the small ones.
