Well, I research things to death sometimes. It may be I'm a bit of a procrastinator, so long research is part of my endless mental process. I am always looking for ways to help make RV life easier. Cooking is one of the main things I love to do when enjoying my RV.
I always set up a cooking table outside. On that table is my griddle and a small propane cooktop and usually a toaster along with a whole bunch of utensils, seasoning, etc. The more I can cook outside in lieu of inside the RV is a plus in my book.
I love French Fries with many of the meals we cook when RVing. So started my quest to find a way to cook them outside instead of using the RV's convection oven.
I found the T-Fal Actifry Multi Cooker Air Fryer and loved the idea that is was the only one that had a mechanism that actually rotated the food which allowed even cooking. I originally gawked at the price but after owning it I wonder why I waited so long to get one. So, of course, the first thing I tried was fresh French Fries. Yes for this alone it is worth it, amazing. Then followed hot dogs. I only use Thuman's Hot Dogs and all I can say is it brought me back to my childhood when we use to travel to Fort Lee, NJ for a famous dog from Callahan's. Of course, chicken wings were on my radar to try and they too cook up fantastic. I did a video of cooking up some Buffalo-style chicken wings with the T-Fal Actifry. If you love fried foods but want to eat healthier or just don't like the mess of cleaning up the oil spatter this is worth checking out. I got mine on Amazon which was the best price I found. I only describe a few things to cook but there are endless items that it can be used for. Search YouTube and you won't be disappointed.
